Delaware state law requires that a child who is, or will reach Age 5, by August 31 of the current year be enrolled in a kindergarten program. As an Appoquinimink parent, you have an exciting decision to make! You can enroll your preschooler in a traditional Kindergarten Program or challenge him/her in a stimulating immersion language setting where children are exposed to math, science, language arts, and social studies taught in two languages instead of one!

Here’s what you’ll bring in order to register:
  1. Your child’s birth certificate
  2. Current medical forms
  3. Proof of residence
  4. Save time by completing the registration packet in advance.
  5. NOTE: Registration is an adult-only process. Whenever possible, please consider finding a babysitter for your child(ren).
If you move to Appoquinimink after our Fall Registration Drive:
If you arrive during the spring or summer months, be sure to complete the enrollment process by August 1, in order to prevent issues with bus or classroom assignments for the year ahead.
