Scholarship Information

Thanks to the generosity of individuals, businesses and organizations throughout the community, a variety of local scholarship opportunities are available to college-bound seniors. The Guidance Office at your student’s school will have information and application forms.

In addition, a number of regional and national institutions offer substantial grants, financial aid, and awards. We’ve included links to some of the more prominent institutions. We recommend you contact these organizations early to be certain you are aware of application deadlines and requirements.

Delaware's unique financial aid options

As a State of Delaware resident, you may be eligible for scholarships that cover the cost of two full years of tuition at our state universities.

SEED - Student Excellence Equals Degree
The SEED program covers tuition for full-time students enrolled in the University of Delaware's Associate in Arts Program as well as at Delaware Technical Community College.

At Delaware State University, the Inspire Scholarship offsets the cost of tuition for Delaware high school graduates.

3) Graduated from a Delaware pubic or non-public high school with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 (SEED) or 2.75 (Inspire) on a 4.0 scale.

*Students still may need to satisfy admission and financial aid requirements as determined by the school.
